Wine Intelligence Ltd and Geisenheim University today announce the signing of a historic research partnership agreement
The agreement was signed at the Geisenheim University campus on 26th February by Professor Dr. Hans Reiner Schultz, President of Geisenheim University, and Richard Halstead, Chief Operating Officer of Wine Intelligence Ltd.
Under the partnership, Geisenheim and Wine Intelligence will work together on developing new intellectual capital from existing data and insights, in the form of articles, seminars and publications. The two institutions will also co-operate on developing new projects together, including commercial projects which align well with their substantial collective expertise on the German, European and global wine industry. The co-operation will be coordinated by Wilhelm Lerner, Country Manager Wine Intelligence for Germany and Dr. Gergely Szolnoki, Department of Business Administration & Market Research.
Commenting on the partnership agreement, Richard Halstead, COO of Wine Intelligence, said: “We’re pleased and proud to be able to join forces with such a prestigious wine industry academic institution. I believe the combination of our respective datasets and intellectual capabilities will add significant value to our output, and we hope will benefit both clients and the industry as a whole in the long run.”
