The Global Wine Brand Power Index 2021 is Wine Intelligence’s fourth annual instalment in the series, calculated based on feedback on six key brand health measures from over 25,000 wine consumers across 25 key global wine markets. We have calculated a power ranking at both country and global levels, with the individual market scores weighted to be reflective of the size of each market (by number of consumers).
This year, we evolved the 2020 index by adding five new markets into the analysis. This has allowed the model to be representative of over 435 million wine drinkers worldwide.
The Global Wine Brand Power Index 2021 is tracked against the 2020 Global Wine Brand Power Index, at a whole and variable level, to allow for the comparison of top brand performances between the years.
