The Global Wine Brand Power Index 2020 is Wine Intelligence’s third annual installment in the series, calculated based on feedback on six key brand health measures from over 20,000 wine consumers across 21 key global wine markets. We have calculated a power ranking at both country and global levels, with the individual market scores weighted to be reflective of the size of each market (by number of consumers).
This year, we evolved the 2019 index by adding four new markets into the analysis. This has allowed the model to be representative of over 380 million wine drinkers worldwide.
The Global Wine Brand Power Index 2020 is tracked against the 2019 Global Wine Brand Power Index, at a whole and variable level, to allow for the comparison of top brand performances between the years.
