Guests sampled a series of dishes, prepared by Brula Catering, which represented each of the five sensory areas:
Bitter, salty, sour, umami and sweet.
All the dishes were matched with wines hand-picked by Gerard Basset MS MW, an associate director of Wine Intelligence.
