Chuan works on a broad range of research projects at Wine Intelligence including quantitative and qualitative consumer research, trade interviews, and social media focus groups and online community. Chuan has contributed his working knowledge of market research practice and consumer insights, with focus on the Chinese market. He was promoted to the role of Research Director in 2016.
Before joining Wine Intelligence in 2013, Chuan completed his Master’s degree in Strategic Marketing at Cranfield University where he built the knowledge and skills in market research and marketing consulting. He holds the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice, and the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits. Chuan is from Guangxi Province in South China and is a native Mandarin speaker.
