Maarten Claessen – Research Analyst
Maarten joined Wine Intelligence after obtaining an MSc degree in Strategic Marketing from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. He developed quantitative data analysis skills through numerous courses and projects during his BSc and MSc degrees. For his dissertation Maarten teamed up with a Belgian market research and consultancy firm and studied the effects of anonymity in online market research.
Born in the south of the Netherlands, Maarten’s interest in wine originates from a ‘burgundian’ family tradition of cooking and wine consumption.
